Our company is looking for a talented and experienced software engineer to join our team. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing game-related software solutions for various platforms.
Desired skills and characteristics for the candidate are:
3+ years of experience in game development.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, game development, or related fields.
Proficiency in one or more common programming languages, preferably C++ and/or C#.
Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Is able to communicate and work with other humans in the same room.
Bonus points for any of the following:
Experience with game physics, graphics, shaders and/or artificial intelligence.
Knowledge of game design principles and user experience (UX).
Familiarity with multiplayer game development.
A portfolio showcasing your game development projects (GitHub link or similar).
Experience with rapid prototyping.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement high-quality games for different platforms.
Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging game mechanics and features.
Write clean and efficient code that meets the project requirements.
Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay on various devices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to implement them in the games.
Maintain game engine plugins for various projects.
What we offer
Full-time employment with 2000 to 3000 € gross pay, depending on experience and level of expertise.
